Intelligent Brake Controller Based on Intelligent Highway Signs to Avoid Accidents on Algerian Roads

Despite the considerable efforts of Algerian authorities to reduce high number accidents, therefore, fatalities on country’s roads, problem persists. To address this worrying situation, it is necessary adopt new technologies and approaches that can assist drivers forcing them comply with driving rules, thus putting an end concerned issue. This research aims primarily in reducing mortality rate, which caused by speeding poor road conditions, including outdated inadequate signs. achieve objective, a complete system consisting two complementary subsystems: intelligent traffic signs interactive smart speed limiter, has been proposed. Existing projects field have shown deficiencies, particularly context real-time critical systems. work offers improved precision, responsiveness, adaptability changes, reduced infrastructure dependency compared existing solutions. The approach tested SUMO simulator, prototype based Arduino cards developed approving its feasibility. However, results obtained from study demonstrate proposed significantly rate roads.
